The Ohio Business Development Center (OBDC) is pleased to announce that nine local businesses and its CEO, Ronda Watson Barber, have become EPA-Certified Lead Renovators. This achievement was made possible through funding from the Franklin County Commissioners and falls under the OBDC Construction Academy.

Additional Highlights:
- Four of the certified vendors are also LEDE-certified with Columbus City Schools and can begin work on projects immediately.
- The CCS Outreach Coordinator attended the training and provided insights into their supplier diversity program.
The day-long training session was held at Kokosing Construction in Westerville and included hands-on demonstrations, equipping attendees with the practical skills required for lead-safe renovation practices.
