  • March 7Start-Up Business Basics: Money, Credit, and Banking – Establishing Banking Relationships–Join the City of Columbus, Mayor’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion’s Dwayne Lee, an industry professional with years of experience providing financial business consulting to small businesses, as he shares the importance of establishing banking relationships, how your banker can help grow your business and obtaining business lines of credit.   • March 10 – Responding to RFPs and Common Mistakes in Bidding and Estimating – The Mayor’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion along with team members from City of Columbus department’s will share their tips and advice on avoiding common errors found when submitting and responding to bid proposals.   • March 17 – Introducing the City of Columbus’ New Certification Programs – The Mayor’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion is thrilled to announce NEW Business Certification programs and that becoming certified with us has become faster and easier than ever!  Learn about program enhancements which  include a new automated Certified Management Software system,  allowing users to complete business certification applications on-line and for our firms listed in our Certified Business Directory to be searched by business category!
